Zine Library - Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center

For over a decade, the IMC has been a midwest nexus for zine making and collecting. The IMC has an amazing collection of zines available for members and visitors to enjoy. We hold open office hours on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 10-12. (*Summer is an exception - regular hours will resume in September).

The Public i is the only news-focused, collectively-run, non-profit newspaper in Urbana-Champaign. The paper is a project of the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center and is organized and edited entirely by volunteer citizen-journalists.
