Community Shares coordinates donations for its coalition of more than 30 nonprofits. Each individual donor selects a charity or group of charities to receive their donation based on which organization is working on the issues and causes they care about most in their community.
These donations have been a big help to our organization! With support from Community Shares donations in 2026, we hosted monthly community nights where we fed more than 700 people, worked with six summer youth arts employees who gained valuable workplace experience, and supported our volunteer-led working groups - WRFU, Public i, Makerspace, Books to Prisoners and Zine Library!
As a supporter of the IMC you can have a big impact by encouraging your workplace to start a workplace giving campaign, or encourage your co-workers to support the IMC if your employer already works with Community Shares.
