Cripistemology and the Arts

About the Project
The Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center continues to work to advance building and programmatic accessibility for people with disabilities and neurodiversity. In recent years, this has included new accessible entrances, a new ramp to our stage, new technology to enable hybrid meetings, and growing our focus on marketing and outreach. This year we have conducted accessibility focus groups and are working with an architectural firm to create a 10-year facilities master plan. This year's work is funded by a Capital Planning Grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
