Because of the pandemic, the UCIMC has had no venue space rental revenue for months. We know that our sustainability of our programming and Working Groups depend on the UCIMC being financially resilient.
So, in this, our 20th year, we are launching a two-pronged COVID-19 recovery campaign to raise $18,000 to cover basic costs for this year, regardless of whether we can rent the venue space.
We are launching a monthly donor campaign to raise $4,800 (20 people x $20 per month for 12 months), but we expect we'll need to raise an additional $13,200 to overcome the effects of the venue space closure.
So, we're asking you to help us create a $6,600 matching fund to incentivize other donors to fill the gap!
This financial self-sufficiency will allow the IMC to re-prioritize the venue space as a resource for programming instead of an (unreliable) income source.
